New for 2023. Where do we even start?

ServiceM8 have out done themselves with new features that will truly save you time and improve the way you run your business.

We are outlining only a few of the new features which you will see upon your version update or could consider using really quickly, as they are easy and quick to learn.

Inbox

Your Email Inbox in ServiceM8 is a central location for managing enquiries, new work, messages and reminders. With ServiceM8V12, your Inbox has been upgraded with a larger layout and improved functionality, to help you find and manage messages.  A recap of improvements include:

·       Separate buttons for attaching documents to existing jobs and a new convert to job button.

·       Tick boxes to select many messages to be trashed or snoozed (click the Actions button).

·       Use the Filter Icon which allows you to quickly see SMS, Online Bookings, Reminders and more.

·       Quick access to your SM8 Inbox email address.

Action Required – Filter

On the right hand side of your screen, you will be currently using the Filters Box.  Now there is a selection called Action Required.  It is a quick way of seeing what you need to attend to ASAP.

Proposals

Giving clients a quote is a crucial first step formany jobs. But, it’s also time consuming when you need to help them understand what they’re looking at, the value they’ll get, and what options they have.  Proposals are next-level quotes, letting you give clients more detail, choice and control in the buying process.

An example of when Proposals could be used would be for an air conditioning business that needs to quote on two different brands of aircons for a customer with different addons or installation costs.

Online Enquiry Follow Up Questions

The Simple Online Enquiry Add-on is great for giving clients an easy way to get in touch with your business, day or night. But sometimes, customers provide very little information in these online forms.

Now, ServiceM8 instantly analyses their enquiry, and generates follow-up questions to get more information. Customers can choose to add to their enquiry, or skip.

Credit Card Surcharge

It’s now possible to automatically add processing fees when clients pay by card. You can set it to always add the fee or set a fee-free thresholds for over certain amounts.
